George Nutting of the Parish of Kempsey, in
the County and Diocese of Worcester, a Farmer and being sworn upon the
Holy Evangelists alleged and made oath as follows, that he is of the Age
of twenty one Years and upwards A Batchelor and intends to marry Mary
Hitchens of the Parish of Holy Cross in the Town of Pershore in the
County and Diocese of Worcester a Spinster by and with the consent of
Dorothy Hitchens the natural and lawful Mother of Mary Hitchens, she
being in her minority......................Also appeared personally
Dorothy Hutchins of the Parish of Holy Cross in the Town of Pershore in
the County and Diocese of Worcester and being sworn upon the Holy
Evangelists alleged and made oath as follows that she is the natural and
lawful Mother of the above named Mary Hitchens and that she is
consenting to the intended marriage of the above named George Nutting
the Bridegroom with her Daughter Mark of Dorothy Hutchings ...........Know all Men by these presents that we George Nutting of the Parish of Kempsey, in the County and Diocese of Worcester, a Farmer and Samuel Hitchens of the Parish of Holy Cross n the Town of Pershore in the County and Diocese aforesaid a Farmer are held and bound........................
